Water Familiarisation

Our Learn to Swim program is designed to cater for every individual, aiming to develop water confidence and facilitate water safety skills in a safe and fun environment. 

 

Swimming skills are introduced sequentially to build on breath control, kicking strength and stroke development. 

 

Our qualified and enthusiastic instructors provide first class demonstrations, instruction and correction to assist swimmers to progress and enjoy swimming in all aquatic environments.

Refine Technique

Swimmers in these levels are refining their Freestyle and Backstroke technique, while increasing their endurance through longer continuous swims.

 

Bilateral breathing is reinforced in conjunction with specific drills to develop stroke efficiency.

 

Breaststroke and Butterfly skills are introduced sequentially, in preparation for squad swimming.

Squad

Brewer Swimming Squads are designed for swimmers keen on improving their swimming speed, and succeeding in competition.

 

Emphasis on essential attributes underpin a structured and challenging succession of drills, training sets and sprint repeats in all four competitive strokes.

 

Squad swimmers will be encouraged to improve their endurance by attending 2 or more sessions per week.
